Their are proud of their heritage but even more excited about their future.
Their are a university-based training program located in Winston-Salem, NC. WFBMC is an 830-bed tertiary care institution affiliated with the Wake Forest School of Medicine. Most all specialties are represented. Their emergency department, a level one adult & pediatric trauma center, has an annual volume of >100,000 patient visits and sees the entire spectrum of human illness. Brenner Children’s Hospital, a 160-bed tertiary care center for children, is located on campus. A brand new state-of-the-art pediatric ED opened in April, 2011 and serves as North Carolina's only level one pediatric trauma center. Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, located in Greensboro, NC is their affiliated community hospital.
