Inhibit acetylcholinesterase, which breaks down acetylcholine, thereby increasing level and duration of action of acetylcholine in synapses

- Donepezil (Alzheimer's treatment) - common side effects are nausea & vomiting, diarrhea, difficulty sleeping, and muscle cramping
