	The 3 Goals of the Residency are (1) to provide outstanding clinical training, (2) to prepare our residents for any type of fellowship or EM job after residency that they aspire to, and (3) to make the 3 year experience enjoyable for our residents. Established in 1977, our residency program has a long tradition of training superior emergency physicians who are well prepared to practice successfully in any environment. 	Residents and Faculty are close knit. ACMC believes the better the faculty knows a resident's abilities, the more they are able to individualize their teaching and supervision for that resident. The camaraderie among residents produces life-long friends. When its graduates reminisce about their residency experience, they say their training was filled with fond memories and amazing tales, all underscored by excellence in clinical emergency medicine.
